For shopaholics, one of the best parts of any vacation is exploring the area’s shops and malls. If you love browsing new stores during your getaway, consider heading to one of these cities on your next trip:

New York City

No matter what neighborhood you go to in New York City, you’ll find shopping opportunities. From high-end retail stores like Chanel and Prada on Fifth Avenue to vintage shops in the East Village to the deals up and down Canal Street, there’s something for everyone.

Chicago

If you’re looking for shopping in the windy city, Chicago boasts something called the Magnificent Mile. This 13-block area of North Michigan Avenue is filled with luxury boutiques, department stores, specialty shops, art galleries, and more. When you’ve had your fill of shopping, there are also plenty of restaurants in the area to grab a meal.

Houston

You may not think of Houston as a place where you can do a lot of shopping, but the largest city in Texas comes complete with nearly 17,000 retail locations and 54 shopping centers. If that’s not enough, you could always head to the 2.4 million-square-foot Galleria - one of the largest malls in the U.S.

Las Vegas

While known for its abundance of casinos, Las Vegas is rich in shopping as well. The Esplanade is full of high-end shops like Cartier, Chanel, and Hermes while The Fashion Show Mall boasts boutique and specialty stores. You can even shop via gondola at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian.

Seattle

If you love the outdoors, you’ll love shopping in Seattle. Pike Place Market sells more than just produce, featuring dozens of specialty shops and stalls and Pioneer Square is rich in artwork. Downtown, you’ll find Ranier Square, which lets you browse luxury stores like Brooks Brothers and Gucci.

Atlanta

Atlanta’s eclectic neighborhoods give locals and visitors a wide variety of shopping opportunities. The city’s Atlantic Station also gives you 50 retail stores and plenty of restaurant options.
