Fall is a great time to travel, and every year, our Philadelphia Airport long term parking company receives an abundance of parking reservations. Once cooler temperatures come around, here are certain destinations that are almost always popular for travel.

While corporate members usually travel to major cities in the fall, families usually travel to resorts in the Caribbean, Florida, and Mexico. According to American Express, the top 10 U.S. flight destinations that have been booked this fall are:

  • L.A., California
  • New York, New York
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Boston, Massachusetts
  • Denver, Colorado
  • Miami, Florida
  • San Francisco, California
  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Orlando, Florida

The top 10 international flight destinations booked this fall are:

  • Rome, Italy
  • Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
  • Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
  • Madrid, Spain
  • Dublin, Ireland
  • Paris, France
  • Cancun, Mexico
  • London, England
  • Aruba

So if you’re headed to any of these major destinations, you’re not alone and should expect to pay a little more for hotels and airfare. Cruises are also among the most popular fall trends this year, with the biggest contenders being Caribbean, London, and European river cruises.

On the other hand, if you’re looking to go somewhere that’s not as crowded, Fox News suggests heading to Maui, Hawaii. Currently, the city is experiencing an 11% drop in hotel prices and a 25% drop in flight prices. International cities like Milan, Italy and Taipei, Taiwan are also experiencing drops as well as Montreal and Toronto, Canada.
