Our PHL parking members know that booking your flight is one of the most important parts of your vacation, but with so many travel websites out there, how do you know which is the best one to use? Here are 6 helpful ones that we’ve found:
This website is great for finding the best international airfares. All you have to do is enter how much money you want to spend and when you want to travel. Farecompare.com will give you the lowest fares of more than 500 airlines for an array of cities around the world.
If you’re a traveler who loves choosing your own seat, you’ll love Seatguru.com. You can preview seat maps, find out where power outlets are located, and discover which seats have the most legroom. The website has information for 73 models of airplanes throughout 39 different airlines.
In addition to hotels, car rentals, cruise deals, and other vacation deals, Kayak.com compares hundreds of airline flights to help you find the cheapest one available. If you have a specific price range, you can also use the website’s Explore tool to see which destinations you can reach within your price range.
If you’re not sure when the best time to book a flight is, head to Farecast.com. The website gives you historic pricing data so you can decide whether you think a flight fare will increase or decrease in the upcoming week and book your flight accordingly.
Once you’ve booked your flight, check out Yapta.com. This website tracks airline fares and will let you know if the price of your selected flight decreases. This way, if the website you booked your flight on offers you a refund for the price difference, you can take advantage of it.
Instead of entering your flight information into an array of different travel websites, Bookingbuddy.com can search Hotwire, Priceline, Travelocity, Orbitz, Kayak, and other websites for you and then give you the results to compare side by side.
